What happened to our Daily Specials?

Some exciting things are happening over here at the new Bar & Grill on Locke.

As you may or may not know, the Bar on Locke has recently changed ownership, and will now be known as the Bar & Grill on Locke. Peter Morrison, long-time friend of previous owner Ray and owner of the Easy Restaurant in Toronto, has taken over the reigns.

Peter recently moved to Hamilton, and as a restauranteur of close to 20 years, was ready to take on a second restaurant (closer to his new home).

As part of the transition, Peter is making some important updates, such as new equipment and additions to the menu. In keeping with the vibe, spirit, and quality of the former Bar on Locke, he has kept many Bar on Locke classic dishes, just tweaking them to make them even better!

Join us for brunch!

Another exciting addition we are proud to announce is brunch! This will be served EVERY DAY from 10 am-3 pm, with a weekday brunch menu and a special weekend brunch menu.

New gluten-free options

In keeping with our healthy food philosophy, we have added many gluten-free options. We also strongly believe in the importance of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and do our best to use as much local food as possible.

Because we are adding so many new menu items, we did have to discontinue the “Daily Specials”. However, along with our new brunch menus, we will now be serving a Soup of the Day.

So if you’re used to keeping an eye out for the daily special, you’ll still see our soup specials being published here.

We will be closed until 5pm Thursday to allow for extensive kitchen equipment installations.
